ABOUT
Secret Secret is a collaboration between four friends who found their voice in the underground San Francisco rock community. They play genre-bending music that waterfalls from melancholy indie pop to explosive alt-rock. Lead singer Sadie Alan had a treasure trove of songs from her young adulthood that were rarely played in front of an audience. Her friend Marika Stuurman was determined to change that and so in 2018 she invited drummer Maria Donjacour and bassist Sasha Konnings to jam with them. They met in Sadie’s basement and got to know each other over beers and music.
In the following years they played Bay Area venues like Bottom of the Hill, El Rio, Hotel Utah, and got to play one of the last shows at the legendary Hemlock. Secret Secret released their first EP called HUSH in 2019 and released their first full length, self-titled album on July 24th, 2020.

SADIE ALAN
Sadie is the lead singer and lyricist of Secret Secret. She has been writing songs since she was young and specializes in striking metaphores and imagery. Sadie released her solo EP in 2019.
MARIA DONJACOUR
Maria is a singer, dancer, multi-instrumentalist and social activist. In addition to being the bad-ass drummer and singer in Secret Secret, she also plays in indie rock group Lofi Legs.
SASHA KONINGS
Sasha shreds the bass in Secret Secret and also has a solo project called Xashadellic. She is an avid vegan, funk queen, and plant whisper.
MARIKA STUURMAN
Marika plays lead guitar in Secret Secret and occasionally busts out an operatic high note. She was a co-songwriter in the band Dream Haste and continues to work on solo music at home.
